A student of the Siddhanath Science Campus has been found murdered at his hostel in Kailali on Saturday.

A resident of Bajhang district, Damber Jagri, a fourth-year B.Sc. student was found dead with his throat slit in the store room of the hostel.

Some persons have been arrested in relation to the incident and an investigation is underway, police said.

Jagri was also running the canteen in the campus.

Meanwhile, various students associations have condemned the murder and called for an investigation to find and punish those behind it. RSS
