Two persons died and three others were injured in a truck accident at Malunga in Syangja district along the Siddhartha Highway on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Janaki Thapa Magar and Krishna Bahadur Thapa of Waling Municipality in the district.
According to the Ward Police Office, Waling, the accident took place when a truck (Na 3 Kha 5546) heading towards Butwal from Pokhara veered off the road and fell some 150 meters down.
Truck driver Bhuwan Karki, 51, of Daman Palung-5, Makawanpur, Bhoj Prasad Tiwari, 66, of Waling-9 and Kosh Bahadur Thapa, 53, of Waling-14 were injured in the incident. They are receiving treatment at the Lumbini Medical College, Palpa. RSS
