A partial lunar eclipse will take place on the night of August 7. In Kathmandu, the eclipse will begin at 11:07pm and ends at 1:03am.
The eclipse will be visible from Nepal, India, China, Japan, Australia, Antarctica, Africa, Europe, Russia and some parts of South America. However, it will not be visible to the people living at USA and Canada.
This eclipse can be seen with naked eye.
According to astrologer Jayanta Acharya, the eclipse should not be viewed by people having Hindu zodiac signs Brish, Mithun, Karkat, Kanya, Tula, Dhanu, Kumbh and Makar. People with Mesh, Singh, Brischik, and Min can watch the partial lunar eclipse.
