Mayor of Bharatpur metropolis Renu Dahal has said that the metropolis would be developed into a model metropolis of the country, and of Asia.

Speaking to the participants of a rally organised to celebrate her victory here on Sunday, Mayor Dahal pledged to move ahead with the development of the metropolis, rich in natural heritage and amenities, in consultation with the residents of Bharatpur.

Deputy Mayor Parbati Shah also expressed the commitment to work actively in making Bharatpur the model city in the next five years.

The victory rally that began from Chaubiskothi ended on reaching Pulchowk of Narayangadh. All the elected people's representatives of the metropolis and NC and CPN-MC leaders and cadres took part in the rally. RSS
