As many as 32 persons were injured when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Daunne in Bardaghat Municipality of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway on Saturday.

The incident occurred when the bus (Na 6 Kha 2946) heading towards Kathmandu from Nepalgunj turned turtle and fell some 100 metres down the road this morning, police said.

Among the injured, 12 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Butwal while rest at local health centres at Bardaghat, Inspector Tek Bahadur Rawat informed.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident occurred due to over-speeding. RSS
