A person died and another sustained critical injures when a jeep met with an accident at Simara Jitpur Sub-Metropolitan City in Bara on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhu Sahani, 45, a fishmonger of Birtamod-9, Jhapa.
The incident occurred when the ill-fated four-wheeler (Ga 2 Cha 2320) heading towards Kathmandu skidded off the road and plunged into a local river today.
DSP Dilip Ghimire said that jeep driver Chij Man Shrestha, 49, who was seriously injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at the Hetauda Hospital. RSS
