A woman killed her husband by attacking him with a Khurpa (a sharp-edged weapon) at Panauti Municipality in Kavrepalanchok district.
According to Inspector at Area Police Office, Banepa, Anil Ghimire, 26-year-old Lalu Maya Tamang attacked her husband Santa Bahadur, 33, with the sharp weapon over a family feud.
“We found Santa Bahadur lying dead when we reached the incident site,” said Inspector Ghimire. Police has suspected that Santa Bahadur’s wife could have been under the influence of alcohol.
Police has arrested Lalu Maya and the dead body has been taken to Sheer Memorial Hospital Banepa for post mortem.
