A couple was found hanging from a tree at Badalgaun in Dhulikhel-8 of Kavre on Wednesday.

According to DSP Nabinraj Rai, the deceased have been identified as Som Prasad Badal, 32, aka Bhairav and his second wife Manisha Dahal, 18.

Som Prasad had tied a conjugal knot with Manisha, a student at the Kavre Multiple Campus, a year ago.

Som Prasad and Manisha had left home telling the former’s first wife Tika Maya to cook meal last evening. Later, the duo was found hanging from a tree near their house.

Tika Maya on Wednesday had filed a complaint at the District Police Office saying that her husband did not care about her.

Police are investigating into the case, DSP Rai said.
