Police have arrested two persons on the charge of their involvement in murdering Shatrudhan Yadav, 34, of Bishnupur rural municipality-5 from Siraha on Tuesday.

The arrested are Shuvakala Devi, 25, of Bishnupur rural municipality-5 and Ram Charitra Thakur, 55, of Siraha Municipality-19. Shuvakala Devi is second wife of Shatrudhan.

Shatrudhan was hacked to death with a sharp weapon on May 31. Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Siraha, Bishwomani Pokharel said that both of them were arrested after they were found involved in the incident.

A team deployed from the District Police Office, Siraha, arrested them, who had been absconding after the incident, from Hemnarayan Chowk of Siraha Municipality-7. RSS
