The unification process between Baburam Bhattrai-led Naya Shakti Nepal (NSN)and Upendra Yadav-led Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) has hit a roadblock following dispute in leadership and jurisdiction.
NSN leaders including party Coordinator Bhattarai, on Sunday, met with SSFN Chair Yadav and proposed to hold the unification process as of now.
According to sources, Bhattarai backed down from the process after some leaders from his party threatened to quit the party if the two parties joined forces.
Likewise, SSFN Chairman is also known to be under pressure from some SSFN leaders including co-chairman Rajendra Shrestha who have been demanding that NSN coordinator Bhattarai should first amend his mistake of signing the constitution.
