A cyclist died after being hit by a bus at Congress Chok in Gaidakot of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Tejram Thapa of Bulingtar, Nawalparasi.
The bus (Na 4 Kha 3194) heading towards Kathmandu from Dailekh hit Thapa this morning.
Critically injured in the incident, Thapa breathed his last during the course of treatment at a local hospital.
Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
