Trust fund to be established in memory of Binita Phuyal

Taking special time at the beginning of the Legislature-Parliament meeting on Thursday, Pradhan also announced that he would contribute his one month salary to the trust fund.
Venting his ire over the poor condition of roads in the Kathmandu Valley, he urged authorities concerned to repair, reconstruct and fill the potholes on the roads at the earliest.
Also speaking at the meeting, lawmaker Anuradha Thapa Magar said that the authorities concerned and contractors should provide proper compensation to the family of Phuyal.
Phuyal was a grade three student at the Eureka Higher Secondary School.
Phuyal’s body was recovered downstream of the swollen rivulet after an hour of scramble.
She was immediately taken to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, but doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.
