Arson attack on ward member’s home in Tikapur

Tikapur
An unknown gang set fire to the house of ward member of Lamkichuha Municipality-3 in the district on Tuesday night. However, no one was injured in the fire as Ward member Prem Bahadur Chaudhary and his family members were sleeping in an adjacent house.
Chaudhary’s house is located in a freed Kamaiya’s settlement in Balchaur. The fire has destroyed Chaudhary’s house and stocked food items.
The fire was brought under control with the help of police and local.
Inspector Dhan Bahadur Bohara of Chisapani Area Police Office said that police have found no lead on the incident and are investigating into it.
Nepal Red Cross society has provided kitchen items, tarpaulin, blankets and clothes to the victim’s family.
