A Nepali migrant worker committed suicide in South Korea on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Ramchandra Pangeni of Waling, Syangja. He was working at a stable in Jeju, Korea, sources at the Korea-based Nepali Embassy said.
Pangeni was heartbroken after his girl friend back in Nepal got married recently, according to Jeju Nepali Committee Chairman Subhadra Limbu.
Pangeni’s friend said that he had cried the whole night before his girl friend’s marriage.
Pangeni had come to Korea under the EPS system on May 23.
