Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, has presented Local Governance Bill-2073 BS in the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Monday.

On the occasion, DPM Gachchhadar informed the meeting that the bill is brought to define the jurisdiction of rural municipalities and municipalities as well as the relation of local-level with federation and provinces.

Earlier, the meeting rejected the protest note brought by lawmakers—Prem Suwal, Dilli Prasad Kafle and Anuradha Thapa Magar, with majority. RSS
