The results of second phase local level elections for 223 out of 334 local units have been declared so far.

The results of second phase local level elections for 223 out of 334 local units have been declared so far.
The second phase local level elections were held on June 28 in 35 districts of Provinces 1, 5 and 7.
As per the election results received till 7am on Monday, CPN-UML candidates have emerged victorious in 98 local units and are leading in 46 local units.
While Nepali Congress, have won election in 87 local units and are leading in 43.
Likewise, CPN (Maoist Centre) have registered wins in 31 local units and are leading in 7.
Similarly, independent candidates have secured wins in 6 local units are leading in 13.
Meanwhile, Rastriya Prajatantra Party has won in 1 local unit and is leading in 2 local units.
