Talking to journalists in Pratappur of Nawalparasi on Friday, Tripathi said the RJP-Nepal had decided to withdraw its support to the government charging it with stoking conflict by deploying the Army in the plains. He added that the party was in the process of unplugging support to the government. But the move will not deprive the government of its majority in Parliament.
Tripathi accused the government of mobilising the Army in the Tarai districts on the pretext of the local polls. He said the international community was closely observing the elections in Nepal. He added that the RJP-Nepal would organise peaceful protests on the polling day and appeal to the Madhesi people not to participate in the polls.
