One ward chairperson and 38 other people's representatives have been elected unopposed in the second phase of local elections scheduled for June 28.bookmark

One ward chairperson and 38 other people's representatives have been elected unopposed in the second phase of local elections scheduled for June 28.
Among the elected uncontested in the second phase of civic polls are 12 in Province-1, 12 in Province-5, and 14 in Province-7, shared Election Commission's Secretary Gopinath Mainali.
The elected unopposed are from 15 districts. Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have equal 14 unopposed representatives while CPN (Maoist Centre) has 10.
Dhananjaya Bohora of Kanda rural municipality-5 of Bajhang district has been elected the unopposed ward chairperson. RSS
