A Malaysian tourist was arrested for operating a drone camera without securing permit from the concerned authorities in Charikot, the district headquarters of Dolakha, on Sunday.
The 52-year-old was found operating a drone camera on the premises of a local hotel. To use drone cameras in the country, one should take permission from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, and Home Ministry.
Police have detained several foreigners for using drone cameras without obtaining permit over the past couple of months.
