Police on Thursday arrested a man travelling from Rajbiraj to Kathmandu in possession of contraband drugs.
The arrestee has been identified as Jitendra Yadav of Siraha. Police seized more than 400 ampoules of different controlled drugs including Nurofen, Diazepam and Phenergan. In another incident in Bhaktapur, police arrested a man and seized 10kg cannabis from his residence.
Accused Padam Bahadur Tamang, 63, a resident of Kavre, is in custody, said police. (PR)
