Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba held discussion with the office-bearers of Election Commission (EC) being focused on the second phase of local elections on Thursday.
The meeting that was held at the Prime Minster's office in Singha Durbar discussed on ways to materialise the efforts being taken by the political parties to forge consensus on second phase of local level elections and make the elections free and fair.
Chief Election Commissioner and other commissioners are taking part in the meeting.
Also present during the meeting were CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson and former PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, general secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala, leaders Krishna Sitaula and Bimalendra Nidhi. RSS
