President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday sent separate messages of condolences to Bangladeshi President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina respectively on the loss of lives in Bangladesh due to landslides.
In their messages, the Nepali leaders have expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the government and the people of Bangladesh and the bereaved and affected families, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Toll from the worst landslides in Bangladesh soared to 152 on Wednesday. (PR)
