A woman and her son died when their house collapsed while being repaired at Digre of Chhatreshwori rural municipality -2 on Thursday.

Sushila Gharti, 24, and her 18-months-old son were crushed to death, said District Police Office, Salyan. Sushila was preparing meal in the ground floor while the house was being roofed with zinc sheet. Shushila and the toddler died on the spot.

Meanwhile, a relative named Khakendra Gharti, also injured in the house collapse, has been receiving treatment at a local health facility. RSS
