Congress picks its runners in Kailali, Banke
The Nepali Congress has finalised its candidates for all the 13 local units in Kailali district.

The Nepali Congress has finalised its candidates for all the 13 local units in Kailali district.
“The party’s Central Committee decided the candidates in all the local units. We are now totally focused on the elections,” said NC district President Nara Narayan Shah. Nripa Bada and Sushila Mishra are in the race for the mayor and deputy mayor posts respectively in the Dhangadhi sub-metropolis.
The party has selected its candidates for Banke district as well. Dr Suresh Kumar Kanaudiya, managing director of the Nepalgunj Medical College, is the mayoral candidate for the Nepalgunj sub-metropolis. (PR)
