Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Rajendra Chhetri met his Bangladeshi counterpart General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq at Nepal Army Headquarters on Wednesday and discussed bilateral and mutual relations of the two nations.

Earlier in the day, General Huq laid a wreath on Brave Memorial at Army Pavilion at Tundikhel to pay homage to the fallen soldiers.

The NA also offered a guard of honour to the Bangladeshi army chief.

Gen Huq arrived here on Tuesday for a five-day visit at the invitation of CoAS Chhetri.
