In a bid to take the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal on board the second phase of local level polls scheduled for June 28, the Cabinet on Friday decided to declare nine people who lost their lives in the Madhes movement as martyrs.
The RJP-N had listed 16 people who were killed during the Madhes Andolan to be declared martyrs. (PR)
