The Bill Committee of Cabinet has endorsed the Education Regulations-2073.

A meeting of the committee on Friday endorsed the regulations ten months after the enforcement of Education Act (Eighth Amendment), 2073.

The amended Act has designated up to grade 12 as school education. Likewise, it has scrapped Higher Secondary Education Council and formed National Examination Centre.

“The Bill Committee’s meeting has endorsed the Education Regulations by incorporating suggestions and feedbacks given by a technical committee comprising of joint secretaries from Education Ministry, Federal Affairs and Local Development and Finance Ministry,” said Education Minister Dhaniram Poudel.
