A couple was found dead at their rented room in Sikaritar of Dadhikot, Bhaktapur, on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as Lok Bahadur Tamang, 20, and his wife Bal Kumari Basnet, 20, of Likhu Village Council-9, Okhaldhunga.

According to DSP Krishna Prasain of the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, Lok Bahadur was found hanging from a ceiling fan while his wife was found lying on the bed.

Police said that a suicide note and a bottle of poison were recovered from the incident site.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
