The women engineers were deputed to resurvey the details of quake victims as many of them are not getting the government grants.
Chief Executive Officer of NRA Govinda Raj Pokharel said that the engineers were deployed to address the demands of quake-displaced families after the NRA received more than 1,000 complaints that they were not listed in the beneficiary list even though their houses were destroyed in the devastating earthquake of April 25, 2015.
Pokharel and Secretary Sarbajit Prasad Mahato, among other officials, bade farewell to the engineers during a meeting organised by the NRA on Wednesday.
On the occasion, Pokharel also directed the engineers to take stock of the genuine earthquake victims’ situation.
