Four persons died and 17 others were injured in a bus accident at Gola Bhanjyang in Nilkantha Municipality-10 in the district on Sunday, police said.

The locals involved in the rescue, however, said six persons died in the incident.

The bus Ga 1 Kha 3405, belonging to a private school, was en route to Khahare Bazaar from Gola Bhanjyang.

The school bus was used to carry passengers after a passenger bus plying the route broke down.

The school bus, parked on a steep road to board the passengers from the other vehicle, suddenly moved backwards and plunged some 150 below. The incident site is about 17km away from Dhadingbesi. (PR)
