Properties worth around Rs 80 million was destroyed in a fire that broke out on Monday night at a building housing two drug stores in Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-8, Rupandehi. 

The blaze that started on late Monday night from the ground floor of the building spread through it, destroying Khem Enterprises and Omi Pharma, police said. It was taken under control at 4 on Wednesday morning.

There were no human casualty, according to Area Police Office Butwal’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Mukunda Marasini.
