A total of 52 mountaineers reached atop Sagarmatha (Mt Everest) successfully so far this climbing season, according to Arun Trek Expedition.
With this, the expeditions had taken place three times, including on May 16, May 20 and May 16. Forty-five mountaineers including British Gurkha had become the first expedition team to scale the tallest peak on May 16.
Seven climbers, one Nepali and six foreigners, climbed the tallest peak successfully today morning. The expedition team includes Sushila Sherma (Limbu), who has become first in Panchthar district to reach atop the peak, it has been said. RSS
