Senior orthopedic surgeon at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Prof. Dr. Govinda KC has said that he would sit for 11th hunger strike if his demands were not addressed by May 23.
Dr KC, who has been protesting against the anomalies in medical sector and health education, has demanded the implementation of past pacts reached with him, endorsement of Health Education Bill by incorporating the suggestions given by him and Mathema report, withdraw impeachment motion against Chief Justice Sushila Karki, among others.
Dr KC said that government has forced him to resort to fast-unto-death repeatedly by not implementing the agreements reached with him.
