An unidentified group detonated a cylinder bomb in Changunarayan Municipa- lity-2, Bhaktapur, on Friday.
The bomb went off in front of the Duwkot-based Medical College on Friday morning. However, no casualties were reported.
The explosion shattered windows panes at the house of Madhav Khatri, a leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. According to police, minor damage was reported also in the house of Pushpa Pradhananga.
SP Kiran Rana of the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, said, they are investigating the matter.
The Nepal Army’s bomb disposal unit was also called for help. The Army had defused a cylinder bomb in the area on Wednesday midnight as well.
