An excavator driver was rescued alive with slight injuries after getting buried under a heap of mound that fell when a road leading to Dhansira village located at Dyachowk of Ajirkot Village Council – 1, Gorkha was being dug out.
Tenjing Tamang, 36, of Syabung – 6, Dhading was buried along with the excavator when a sudden landslide struck on Thursday afternoon.
Tamang was rescued alive and unharmed by voting official Ujwal Giri, Inspector Netra Prasad Bhatta, Armed Police Force personnel and the local residents.
District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Birendra Thapa confirmed that Tamang, who was slightly injured after getting buried in the landslide, was rescued unharmed. RSS
