A schoolteacher from Kankai Municipality-9 in Jhapa has been accused of molesting girl students. 

The enraged parents have shut the school in protest and filed a complaint against the teacher at the Area Police Office in Ghailadubba.

The teacher is at large, police said.  The incident came to light after a female teacher learnt about it from the students who had been reportedly molested.

The school headmaster said they have reported the incident to the District Education Office and recommended action against the teacher.
