Central Council Member of Naya Shakti Nepal and former Chairman of Pokhara Valley Development Committee Jit Bahadur Gurung has joined CPN-Maoist Centre on Monday.
Gurung met Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal at Baluwatar and declared that he joined his former party.
Justifying his decision to join Maoist Centre he said, “NSN leader Baburam Bhattarai joined hands with Upendra Yadav and the party failed to lead the alternative political force in the country.”
Maoist Centre leader Dev Gurung was also present in the meeting.
