A vehicle used by Nepali Congress candidate for ward chief from Machhapuchchhre rural municipality-2, Gunjaman Gurung, for the election purpose was set on fire on Saturday night.
An unidentified group torched the parked vehicle (Ga 1 Ja 6445) at Sardikhola, said Vice-President of NC, Kaski, Hari Acharya.
The vehicle was completely damaged in the incident.
Meanwhile, issuing a press release, NC, Kaski, condemned the incident and demanded action against the guilty immediately.
The press release issued by district party president, Krishna KC, also warned not to carry out such activities in days ahead. RSS
