A pedestrian died after being hit by a tipper at Sapahi in Janakpur of Dhanush district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Baijanath Sah, 55, of Sapahi in Dhanusha, according to Inspector Naresh Singh of the Area Police Office, Mahendranagar.
The tipper (Na 7 Kha 2263) hit Sah while he was crossing the road at 5 am today.
Police said that they have impounded the tipper and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
