Vehicles need operation permission on Election Day
The Election Commission (EC) has decided that any candidate or organisation needs to take permission for the operation of vehicles on the Election Day- May 14.The Election Commission (EC) has decided that any candidate or organisation needs to take permission for the operation of vehicles on the Election Day- May 14.
Even a work procedure has been prepared by the EC to grant permission for the operation of the vehicles on the first phase of the local level elections.
With this, the election candidates, security officials, national observers, monitors, diplomatic officials and the commissions would require the pass from the EC to run their vehicles on May 14.
Light vehicles and motorcycles would be provided the pass to manage public mobility.
In the districts, the election candidates and the security persons have to take permission from the Chief District Officer upon the recommendation of the Election Officer.
For the national observers and the gender monitors, their organisations would be permitted to operate five vehicles in maximum in the Kathmandu Valley. RSS
