Police on Monday night arrested a woman for her alleged involvement in torching a jeep in Bardiya district.

The suspect has been identified as Parbati Godiya, 38, of Gulariya Municipality-4 in the district.

The jeep (Ba 16 Cha 3244) belongs to Binod Kumar Pandit of the same area.

Pandit had parked the four-wheeler in front of his house when the incident occurred.

Police are investigating into the case.
