A bomb disposal unit of the Nepal Army defused an improvised explosive device (IED) at Aambasa in Pahalmanpur of Kailali district on Monday.
SP Arjun Chand of the District Police Office, Kailali, said that the Nepal Army bomb disposal team defused the device planted on a field.
Police suspected that the IED might have been hidden during the decade-long Maoist insurgency. RSS
