A 50-year-old woman died in a rhino attack in Chitwan’s Barda Community Forest on Saturday.
Police identified the deceased as Sukamaya Kumal of Bharatpur Metropolis-28.
The rhino had attacked Kumal while she was collecting fodder in the community forest at the buffer zone of the Chitwan National Park.
Critically injured Kumal was taken to Chitwan Medical College where she died during treatment.
Similarly, Bhim Bahadur Pakhrin, 61, sustained serious injuries in another incident of rhino attack in a local forest at Kalika-1 on the same day. (PR)
