A toddler died after falling into a pit used for making bricks in Bhaktapur on Friday night.
The boy breathed his last in the course of treatment.
Police identified the deceased as two-year-old Ram Sharan Nepali, son of Shyam Nepali. Shyam, who hails from Manthali Municipality-10, Ramechhap, has been living in Gundu, Suryabinayak of Bhaktapur.
He works at a brick kiln in Changunarayan Municipality, said the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur.
The poor management of brick kilns has been taking many lives every year.
