A two-year-old boy, who had been missing for the past three days from his home in Khoriya of Naraha-3, Siraha, was found dead on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Ranjan Kumar Yadav, son of Bharoshi Yadav.

Ranjan had gone missing all of a sudden from his home on Wednesday evening.

He was found buried at a field near his home, police said.

Meanwhile, the child's uncle Suresh Yadav has been arrested on suspicion of his involvement in the heinous act.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, DSP Gajusiddha Bajracharya of the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, said. RSS
