Framing Kathmandu
Kathmandu is a place that I can never get enough of. Nothing gets old, boring or cliché here. Every day has something new to offer and every place has a side to it that one might have failed to notice before.![Framing Kathmandu](https://assets-api.kathmandupost.com/thumb.php?src=https://assets-cdn.kathmandupost.com/uploads/source/news/2017/miscellaneous/image33-copy-29042017080747.jpg&w=900&height=601)
Kathmandu is a place that I can never get enough of. Nothing gets old, boring or cliché here. Every day has something new to offer and every place has a side to it that one might have failed to notice before.
As a photographer, I like going back to the same places to see what they have in store for me on the given day. And neither the places nor the people disappoint. It doesn’t matter what part of Kathmandu I am photographing, every frame tells a different story than the last one. Every frame reveals a mood that has replaced what might have been days, or just minutes earlier.
In this collection of photographs, I have played with framing to try and capture Kathmandu and its changing hues, because the trick they say is not in finding new landscapes but in having new eyes.
