Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal that New Delhi would extend all possible help for the local elections in Nepal.
In a telephone conversation on Tuesday afternoon, Modi extended his best wishes for Dahal for successful conclusion of the local elections.
According to a statement issued by the PM’s secretariat, Dahal conveyed his message that the government would implement the constitution by holding the elections on time.
The Indian side said that the two PMs discussed the recent developments in bilateral relations, including the recently concluded “highly successful” state visit of President Bidya Devi Bhandari to India.
