Police have arrested two women in possession of 40 kg hashish from Tansen Municipality-4 of Palpa district on Tuesday.
The suspects have been identified as Man Kumari Chalawa, 39, of Kohalpur Municipality-13, Banke and Rasipura Rokka Magar, 34, of Uwa, Rolpa.
According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the duo were arrested from a bus during a security check.
Police said that they have confiscated 17 kg and 23 kg hashish from Chalawa and Magar’s possession respectively.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
