A man died in a bus-van collision at Sitapur in Krishnaram Rural Municipality of Saptari district along the East-West Highway on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Om Praksah Chaudhary, 25, of the same municipality.

The bus (Na 5 Pa Kha 1827) heading towards west from east collided head-on with the van (Ko Ja 1551) this morning.

Police said that Rabindra Chaudhary of the same locality was injured in the accident.

He is undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based Golden Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
