Police said that two incidents of theft were reported in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday.
Cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 170,000 were stolen from the house of Subash Bhandari at Samakhusi Town Planning in KMC-29.
Similarly, property worth around Rs 10, 2000 was stolen from the furniture of Surya Lama at Champi in Lalitpur Municipality-2.
Police said that the furniture was unattended when the incident occurred.
Police said that they are looking into both cases.
